Giga Tech at Hydrogen 2024

September 11-13 | Piacenza - Italy

At the 2024 HYDROGEN EXPO, Italy's leading trade fair dedicated to the technological development of the hydrogen supply chain, Giga Tech s.r.l. participated, showcasing solutions and components for low-carbon hydrogen production.

The concept of hydrogen as a clean and renewable energy source is not new. However, a number of technical and economic challenges must be overcome before hydrogen can be fully realized as a significant contributor to reducing global carbon emissions.

Organized by MEDIAPOINT & EXHIBITIONS and now in its 3rd edition, the event is a solution-oriented trade fair and conference focused on developing new technologies to address these technical challenges and drive hydrogen into the mainstream for both stationary and mobile applications. It also provided a valuable opportunity for networking and creating synergies among industry players, during three days of discussions on topics that see hydrogen as a sustainable energy source.

In fact, according to some estimates, by 2050, hydrogen could supply about a quarter of the country's total energy demand and, in the short term, it can be an economically viable solution.
